About FrontendCheck

FrontendCheck exists because tutorial hell is real, and building your 32nd todo app isn't teaching you what you actually need to know.

This is a different approach where you learn enterprise frontend patterns by building apps that are actually fun to work on. Not generic examples, but your own unique ideas brought to life with the same architecture used in production apps you use every day.

How it works

Each challenge consists of self-paced stakeholder emails that simulate a realistic workplace. You'll experience requirement changes, scope pivots, and the kind of architectural decisions you'd face in a real job.

The twist: you choose your domain. Pick from 20 options like task manager, CRM, notes app, or inventory - then decide what your app actually is. Someone picking the task manager domain might build "ChoreQuest" (gamified household chores) while another builds "ADHD Brain Dump" (neurodivergent-friendly task capture).

Same enterprise patterns. Completely unique portfolio pieces.

What you'll learn

  • Multi-tenant data architecture
  • Role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Dynamic theming systems
  • Internationalization (i18n) with RTL support
  • Real-time collaboration with WebSockets
  • Offline-first PWA development
  • E-commerce cart and checkout patterns

These are the skills that separate senior developers from juniors - the architectural thinking that tutorials skip over.

Who it's for

  • Junior to mid-level developers preparing for senior roles
  • Bootcamp graduates bridging the gap to employment
  • Freelancers wanting to build and launch SaaS products
  • Anyone tired of building generic todo app tutorials

Pricing

The SaaS Pivot Challenge is completely free - 10 self-paced stakeholder emails teaching multi-tenant architecture, permissions, theming, and i18n.

Additional challenges are $39 each.
